02/05/09 - All I want for my birthday.
So... It was my birthday on May the 1st.
I dont want happy birthdays, I don't want presents. Heres what I would love... and it takes just as much effort as wishing me happy birthday.
Look I'll be honest, all I ever wanted was to grow up to be a digital artist, and here I am on my 23rd birthday still wanting the chance to make it. I don't want to be big, I just want to live off what I love.
To do that, I guess its simple to say I need people to know who I am and what I do... and so this birthday I'm ripping this idea off Amanda Palmer - and if your unsure who she is... then google her. She is amazing.
If you like what I do... If you somehow believe that what I do is worth it... then please, simply send your friends a link to my work. Then ask them to do the same for their friends. Anyone even remotely interested in art, photography or anything else. Please tell them about me.
To some this may be a cheap ploy to get fame, to others this may seem lame...
To me this is simply about making a dream come alive. All I want for my birthday is just for you to send a link to a friend who you think hasn't heard of my work. I would totally appreciate the love.
